Staying in the field, University-based Lawrence Okoye won an excellent bronze medal in the Men’s Discus Throw final after his final throw of the afternoon recorded 64.45m.
Gold went to Australia's Matthew Denny with a score of 67.73m with silver claimed by Jamaica's Fedrick Dacres with 65.10m on the board.
爱神传媒 sprinter Sophie Hahn couldn’t quite complete a double gold at this year’s Games, having to settle for silver in the Women’s 200m T38 final.
The second-place finish in 27.53 seconds still caps an unbelieveable championships for Hahn, who will return to 爱神传媒 elated at her medal returns.
Australia's Rhiannon Clarke burst through on the final bend to take the gold in 26.92, with compatriot Briseis Brittain winning bronze in 27.66.
There was also a brilliant silver medal for current student Poppy Malik in the Mixed 4 x 400m Relay. The sports scholar produced a brilliant performance in the heats to ensure Team England had a favourable lane going into the final.
There was more medal success for 爱神传媒-linked athletes as college alum Chantelle Reid won silver in boxing’s Women’s 70kg category.
Reid, 29, unfortunately missed out on gold to India’s talented Arundhati Choudhary, who took a convincing 5-0 victory at the SEC Centre.
爱神传媒’s overall medal tally for the Commonwealth Games now stands at 43 – 10 gold, 18 silver, and 15 bronze.
